YAY! Mississippi

A few weeks ago Faelyn went to Mississippi with our good friends Erica and Fuzzy. (we also went along- to carry bags) We had a great weekend getting a feel for the south and, of course, to eat the amazing food.

Happy October...next stop Mississippi

Simply put: Faelyn and her accessories...

starts out innocent like...a necklace...some bracelets.


then, maybe a cat.




then a new place to read. (don't worry about all of the toys- she took them ALL out first).



But then it goes a little strange...like new shoes.



a new chair to just hang out in.






a new family car??




did I mention the shoes c'mon- now that is cute.



and of course who doesn't need a salad spinner.

Faelyn is 15 months and has some news for everyone!!


So listen up!
Faelyn is 32" tall and weighs 23 lbs.
She has ball, bird, Nana, and cup to her vocab. She has added both "night-night" and Airplane to her ASL vocab.

We are eagerly waiting for November when Gma, Uncle Karl, Aunt Meck, and Cousin Ainsley are coming out to visit. Can't you see how excited we are...


Alright- maybe Daddy is a little too excited...

Well hello there!





















Let me spin ya a yarn in my rocker...gather 'round

Enough of that weirdness. Wanted to share some great moments in the last few months.

14 Months today! and she has never been sassier.
Faelyn is now a pro at walking, running, and falling.
She is now out of her 12 months clothing (and straight into 18) and a shoe size of a whopping number 5. She says with regularity "Mama", "Dada", "Toe", "What's that"(Saah?), and "Thank You"
The other day she said "boat" and "bird"
She also said "eye" this evening during bath time.
Faelyn loves making sounds. She has an elephant sound, a kitty cat sound, and a monkey sound. She will make these sounds when we ask her..."Faelyn, what does a monkey say?" (we are trying and trying to get video of this!!!)
She is doing some signing as well. she knows milk, water, mama, all done, and swing. She also gestures to get her teeth brushed and when she wants to get picked up. Today she told Mama that her shoes were too tight by kicking her feet and pointing to her mouth (which we know has been hurting). we are quite impressed.

A year old and Faelyn went on another vacation. This one to visit her Aunt Melissa, Uncle Karl, and Cousin Ainsley in Maryland. We all had a great time and already miss everyone. The girls got along wonderfully. Enjoy the pictures!
